Work History: This is currently my sixth year of teaching here at CCTI. My prior education experiences have been through East Stroudsburg University as well as Wilkes University. I currently hold four teaching certifications (instructional II) in Biology, Earth Space, General Science, and Middle School Science. Education experiences I have had include but are not limited to: being class adviser (4 years), Instructor for an after school Career Academy for middle school students (2 years), STEM after school progam lead teacher (2 years) Envirothon team teacher (6 years), etc. Prior to teaching at CCTI I was a director of summer recreation program for 2 years (counselor for an additional 2 years), a Betheda mentour, have completed fieldwork at Wallops Island Marine Science Consortium, and a presenter at the National Science Teacher's Conference in Boston 2008. Over the summer I am a employee of Johns's Hopkins University for their Center for Talented Youth (CTY) teaching a bay ecology course (4 years). I also enjoy working for BHA in Lehighton after school and in the summer.
Hobbies/Interests
I enjoy working out, playing sports, working on house projects, and getting outside! I am a big Philadelphia sports fan, Phillies, Flyers, and Eagles. Love my 3 cats: Allie, Lenny, and Scootie as well as my new puppy Smoltzy.
